By creating an account or using Dawo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Dawo.

Dawo is an AI-powered investment research platform that provides equity analysis, portfolio intelligence, and research synthesis. The Service aggregates publicly available market data, SEC filings, and other financial information to generate analysis and insights.

Nothing on Dawo constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional financial guidance.

All analysis, conviction scores, thesis views, buy/sell/hold signals, and other outputs are generated by automated systems and AI models. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You should not make investment decisions based solely on information provided by Dawo.

Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions. Past performance of any analysis or signal is not indicative of future results. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Dawo, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to manipulate markets or engage in any form of market abuse
• Attempt to interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute outputs from the Service without permission

If you connect a brokerage account, you authorize Dawo to access your portfolio data (positions, transactions, account balances) solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not place trades on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time via Settings.

You represent that you are authorized to connect any accounts you link to the Service.

All software, designs, models, and content comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

You retain ownership of any data you upload (portfolio positions, transaction lots, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF INACCURACIES.

Market data, company financials, and AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, or delays. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR £50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You may close your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
